Job Description: Job Summary
Senior Salesforce Developer with strong hands-on expertise across Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (ExactTarget). This role focuses on enhancing, stabilizing, and scaling existing implementations through configuration, development (Apex/LWC/SSJS), integrations, release management, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate has proven experience supporting production orgs, remediating technical debt, and delivering iterative improvements without requiring greenfield rebuilds.

Responsibilities
• Enhance and maintain an existing Sales Cloud implementation (data model, security, sharing, profiles/permission sets, automation, configurations).
• Enhance and maintain an existing Marketing Cloud Engagement implementation (Data Extensions, Contact model, roles/permissions, content/journeys/automations).
• Develop and maintain Apex (Triggers, Classes, Batch), LWC, and Visualforce components in an enterprise Salesforce org.
• Write and optimize SOQL, SOSL, Aggregate, and Relationship queries with strong governor limit awareness and performance tuning.
• Support and optimize Journey Builder and Automation Studio / Automation Builder assets (SQL Query Activities, imports, extracts, file transfers, scheduling).
• Develop and support Marketing Cloud scripting using SSJS (CloudPages, automation utilities, operational scripts).
• Support and operationalize Marketing Cloud AI features such as Send Time Optimization (STO) and Engagement Frequency, including governance and monitoring.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Marketing Cloud Connect (Salesforce Connector) configuration and data flows.
• Maintain and enhance CloudPages Web-to-Lead patterns, including email verification workflows.
• Maintain and support Sales Cloud Privacy Center, consent management data model, and Preference Manager configuration.
• Maintain and optimize Sales Cloud Duplicate and Matching Rules, including lead deduplication at scale.
• Maintain and enhance Sales Cloud Campaign Management and Approval Processes.
• Maintain and enhance integrations with external systems using APIs and best practices (authentication, error handling, retries, bulk patterns, logging/monitoring).
• Support deliverability operations using tools such as Validity (email validation/list hygiene and content rendering/testing using design test), and seed list injection / inbox placement monitoring.
• Convert and operationalize Figma templates into reusable Content Builder components and Email Templates aligned to existing design systems.
• Implement and support audit/traceability patterns by extracting audit trail events into Data Extensions and integrating with Splunk for enterprise observability.
• Own DevOps and release management across Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud in a brownfield setup (deployment planning, environment strategy, versioning, regression validation, hotfix support).
• Work in Agile/Scrum teams; interpret user stories and acceptance criteria; collaborate with architects, admins, QA, security, and stakeholders.
Job Requirements: Required Qualifications (Must Have)
• Demonstrated experience delivering in brownfield Salesforce environments (enhancement, stabilization, technical debt remediation, production support).
• 5+ years Salesforce Sales Cloud configuration and development experience.
• 3+ years Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (ExactTarget) configuration and development experience.
• 3+ years solution design/architecture experience in enterprise Salesforce implementations.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and asynchronous Apex patterns.
• Strong hands-on experience with SOQL/SOSL optimization and governor limits.
• Strong hands-on experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Data Extensions, and SSJS.
• Experience supporting Marketing Cloud Connect in production (setup, troubleshooting, data integrity).
• Experience integrating Salesforce and/or Marketing Cloud with external systems using APIs and best practices.
• Experience with DevOps/release management for Salesforce and Marketing Cloud (including regression coordination and production deployments) using Gearset, Copado.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.

Preferred Qualifications
• Healthcare or Healthcare Marketing experience.
• Salesforce certifications preferred (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer, Marketing Cloud Consultant/Developer).
• Experience with Opportunity Management, Forecasting, and Sales Planning processes.
• Experience with privacy/consent and compliance-driven implementations.
